After you complete the Gollum level in Lego hobbit, you will be faced with the challenge of defeating the Great Goblin.
First Challenge:
The goal of this challenge is to defeat 10 goblins. My method for this is to swing until you hit a goblin. Keep using this method till all goblins are all gone. This level would be better with a friend, parent, or sibling, making the load easier to bare.
Second Challenge
Now comes a series of face-to-face confrontations with the Great Goblin. First you will need the dwarf that has a flail. You can hold the square button to aim for the latch. Mash the “o” button on the controller till the box falls on the Great Goblin. After that, team up with another dwarf and smash his head. If you see the Great Goblin freeze, restart the level. Use the method shown under First Challenge. After continuing, Gandalf should show up in the corner. Swap to Gandalf and use the “Pho Hammer! Bright as day!” -Great Goblin
Third Challenge
After using Gandalf, the Great Goblin will hold up another chest, needing an archer dwarf, Killi. After swapping to Killi, aim for the box and shoot. If you did this properly, the crate should fall on the Great Goblin should be dazed, meaning you should team up with another dwarf and bonk him on the head again.
Fourth Challenge
After that, the Great Goblin will get up and grab one last box, having a blue glowing part. Immediately swap to Gandalf and aim for the box. After that shoot the box and team up with another dwarf one last time and deal the final blow!
Fifth Challenge
What should happen after that is a cutscene. After that you will play as the dwarfs, which will then split from the other half of the dwarfs. Using Ballan, smash the cart away. Proceed on from there. You will need to ram some goblins and get to a bridge. Using Killi, aim at the targets and that will unlatch the bridge. A goblin will shoot out the bridge, and the way to fix it is to match the color of the bridge plates with the color in the rotational pads. After that you will need to get out of the bridge and meet with the others. Using a ladder, climb across a huge gap. That’s the end of the dwarven shenanigans.
Sixth Challenge
After completing all the dwarf problems, the Great Goblin will return, and will fight you one last time. You must wait for the Great Goblin to smash the ground and stalagmites to fall on his head. He will be dazed, allowing you to team up with other dwarfs and slam his head, letting you deal damage to him. After doing that for two more times you will trigger a cutscene showing the dwarfs and Bilbo running out of goblin mountain! Congratulations, you finished the goblin town level! 🎉🍾🎈🎊
