Odd Gods 2 starts off with Oddonis trying to make the perfect gift for his father Zeus. He ends up making a mini Zeus out of macaroni and a napkin. When Zeus is waiting for his next present from Oddonis’ brother, Addonis, Addonis gives Zeus a bull and Zeus ends up loving the gift, making Oddonis feel ashamed of what he made his father. When Oddonis is about to give mini Zeus, he finds a letter instead with a poem from his uncle, Hades. Then Oddonis says that Hades and Zeus are not very good friends and they hate each other. When Oddonis reads the poem out loud, Zeus turns into a big baby. Oddonis’ mother, Hera, says the only way to reverse the spell is to get Hades to reverse it. Oddonis an His friends plus his brother and his friends go on an adventure to make their dad turn into a grown up again. In the end thy turn Hades into a baby and Baby Zeus and Baby Hades hug, reversing the spell making them grown up again. But once they grow they start to fight. Oddonis tells them to be nice to each other and to be friends again. Finally Hades and Zeus hug and become friends again. For the first time ever, Oddonis and Addonis hug. But they become old people after.
What I liked about this book is all the jokes they made. On their journey to the underworld, they ran into a cyclops that always says the letter Y. Instead of calling it cyclops they call it a yclops. There was also a part of the book where they started to wedgie a group of underwear wearing people. There were a lot of wedging drawings. There was nothing to dislike about the book. Everything was great. The drawing and the story were awesome. This is one of my favorite series of books. It’s a great book for people who love fiction mixed with mythology. This book is one of a kind and amazing.
